Review: European Winter Academy 2009
Encounter Europe – Visit Germany: A European Studies
Seminar for Students from Australia and New Zealand -
An introduction to the political, economic and environmental issues of European integration
"Encounter Europe – Visit Germany“ – this was the motto of the third international studies seminar for students from Australia and New Zealand at the European Academy of Otzenhausen from December 6 – 19, 2009. It was organised by the foundation ASKO EUROPA-STIFTUNG in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, the European Academy of Otzenhausen and the International Centre for European Education (CIFE).
The 27 participants were offered a varied programme including lectures, workshops, excursions to European institutions, guided city tours and leisure activities. The participants were open-minded and committed, which created an outstanding working atmosphere, combining learning with fun.
If you want to get an idea of the seminar, have a look at the seminar presentation made by Wellett Potter from Australia – and enjoy it!
